Tarabini represented her country and won the Bronze Olympic medal at the 2004 Athens games, withPaola Suárez , where they lost 7–9 in the third set to eventual gold medalists fromChina ,Sun Tiantian and Li Ting. OnMay 9 ,1988 , Tarabini reached her highest singles ranking: World Number 29. Tarabini's highest doubles ranking was World Number 69, of which she achieved onAugust 17 ,1998 .
