SMK Bandar Utama 3

SMK Bandar Utama 3 was built in 2000 and was officially opened in 2002. It is situated next to Bandar Utama College.

During the early years, "Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan" Bandar Utama 3 had an enrollment of 125 students, but now this has rapidly increased into a population of 1,100 students. There are 65 staff members serving in the school. SMK Bandar Utama 3 mainly attracts students who want to be trained in basketball although many have cited the reason of studying is here because they were unable to obtain transfers to other more prestigious schools.Fact|date=July 2008 The school has a huge field which takes up almost three quarters of the school land.

Most of the students who attend this school come from SJKC Yuk Chai, SK Bandar Utama 2 and 4, SJKC Damansara, SK Damansara Jaya 1 and 2, SK Tropicana, and SK Taman Megah. The school was set on fire by a former student in 2005.Fact|date=July 2008
