CHUC-FM

CHUC-FM is an classic hits radio station broadcasting at 107.9 FM in Cobourg, Ontario, Canada, branded as 107.9 FM The Breeze.

The station originally began broadcasting in 1957 at 1500 kHz on the AM band. In 1963, CHUC moved from 1500 to 1450 kHz, until the station moved to its new current FM frequency at 107.9 FM in 2006.

On November 7, 2007, at 5:00 PM EST, CHUC 1450 AM signed off the air for good ending with the song "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong after airing a special sign off message. CHUC will continue on the FM dial at 107.9 MHz, known as "107.9 The Breeze".

CHUC-FM, is owned by Pineridge Broadcasting Inc.
