Adam Fleming

Adam Fleming

Adam Fleming is a Scottish news reporter, best known for his work on CBBC's news programme, "Newsround". He also reports for "Sportsround" and has recently begun appearing as a political correspondent for BBC News.

Educated at Hutchesons' Grammar School Glasgow from 1989 to 1998, as a teenager he had the opportunity to direct productions for the [http://www.scottishyouththeatre.org Scottish Youth Theatre] , and then went on to Hertford College, Oxford where he studied Geography and edited "The Oxford Student" newspaper - graduating from Oxford University in 2001, with a first class degree.

He has worked in journalism for "The Herald" newspaper in Glasgow, "The Daily Record" and "Scottish Television", and has been sponsored by BBC News on a postgraduate Diploma in Broadcast Journalism at City University, London.
