The discography of In Flames, a Swedish melodic death metal band, consists of nine studio albums, one live album, five extended plays, three singles, and one video.

In Flames was formed in 1990, initially as a side project by guitarist Jesper Strömblad, during this time he was in Ceremonial Oath. In 1993, Jesper left Ceremonial Oath due to musical differences and began focusing more on In Flames.cite web|url=http://www.allmusic.com/cg/amg.dll?p=amg&sql=11:wifqxq9hldke~T10|title=In Flames > Biography|last=DaRonco|first=Mike|publisher=allmusic|accessdate=2008-08-07] During this same year the band wrote, recorded, and self-produced their debut studio album "Lunar Strain", that was released in 1994 though Wrong Again Records. 1996′s "The Jester Race" is the second studio album, and the first since the band signed with Nuclear Blast. In 1997, In Flames recorded and released their third studio album, "Whoracle", which reached number 33 on the Finnish charts. Followed by the fourth studio album, "Colony" that was released in 1999. This album peaked the charts on In Flames' home country at number 37 and again in Finland, this time at number 27.
