Vernon C. Holloway Sr.

Vernon C. Holloway Sr. (c. 1920–2000) was a Florida businessman and politician.

He was born in Richmond, Virginia. He founded Interstate Electric Company in Dade County, Florida. He served eight years in the Florida House of Representatives and six years in the Florida Senate representing the 39th District in Miami.

Senator Holloway died January 15, 2000, at the age of 80. He is interred at Oak Hill Cemetery, Nyack, New York. Survived by his children, Jean E. LeDew(d) of McAlpin, FL, Vernon Jr.(s) of Miami, FL and Lee A.(s) of High Springs, FL. Also (6) Grandchildren and (2) Great Grandchildren.
