Zvi Yehezkeli ( _he. צבי יחזקאלי, born August 17, 1970) is an
Israel i journalist. He is an Arab affairs correspondent and head of desk atNews 10 , the news division ofIsrael 10 .Yehezkeli was born in 1970 to a family with Iraqi and Kurdish origins, and served in an
infantry unit in the IDF. After his military service, he was sent abroad for a few years by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Back in Israel at the age of 25, he attended theHebrew University inJerusalem , majoring in Media andMiddle East History, where he acquired hisArabic . Later, he joined Israel's Army Radio as theGaza andWest Bank reporter and occasionally contributed to the Israeli Channel 1's "Yoman" with various reports. During this time, he also completed his Master's majoring in Middle East History, as well as graduating in Media andJournalism at theKoteret school of journalism. In 2002, he left theIsrael Army Radio to join News 10 as the head of Desk for Arab Affairs. Today, he takes an active and integral part in News 10'sLondon & Kirschenbaum with reports aboutArabia and the Middle East. In 2006, he won many praises for his part in covering theSecond Lebanon War . Many perceive his coverage as unique, primarily thanks to his different approach and insights in finding common grounds betweenIsrael and the Arab world.External links
