In the song, lead singer Wes Scantlin, sings about wanting to be famous, for the perks that come along with that life. It has drawn comparisons to Nickelback's "Rockstar," due to the fact that "Rockstar" is also about wanting to achieve celebrity status. The full song can be listened to on the band's [http://www.myspace.com/puddleofmudd MySpace] .

Charts

"Famous" did not do very well on the "Billboard" charts, but it had peaked at #2 on the Mainstream Rock Tracks. It also reached #18 on the Bubbling Under Hot 100 singles chart, which is equivalent to #118.
