Before creating Spoon, frontman
Britt Daniel toyed around with a few musical acts in the Austin area. Retrieved October 17, 2007.] After his stint with Skellington, Britt played bass for a rockabilly-trio calledThe Alien Beats , releasing "Cavin' In" in 1993 on Syncretic Records. During a recording session for "Cavin' In", drummerJim Eno was brought in as a fill-in when the original drummer could not make it, but ended up becoming the full-on drummer.
