He was about 20 years old, and a private in the
90th Regiment of Foot (laterThe Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) ),British Army during theIndian rebellion of 1857 when the following deed took place for which he was awarded the VC.On
17 November 1857 atLucknow ,India , Private Graham brought in a wounded comrade under very heavy fire.Elected by the regiment. He died Dublin
3 June 1875 .His Victoria Cross is displayed at the
