James Dickson Innes (
27 February 1887 –22 August 1914 ) was a Welshlandscape painter who worked in both oils and water-colours.He was born in
Llanelli , his father being a Scotsman who had found employment at the localtinplate works. He was educated atChrist College, Brecon , Carmarthen School of Art, and theSlade School of Art .
