Lynne Neagle born 18 January 1968, Merthyr Tydfil, is the Labour National Assembly for Wales member for Torfaen since 1999.

Background

Educated at Cyfarthfa High School and the University of Reading, she read French and Italian. Is a former Voluntary Sector Carer and Careers Development Officer. Was also a research assistant to Glenys Kinnock MEP. She is married to Huw Lewis, the Labour Assembly member for Merthyr Tydfil and Rhymney.

Political career

She was elected to the National Assembly for Wales in 1999 as a Labour candidate to represent Torfaen.
