Sparks found some
temporary work in 2001 in the shipping department of a worker-ownedsex toy company named Good Vibrations. Thegeneral manager of Good Vibrations, Beth Doyle, quickly recognized Sparks' management skills and hired her as a financial manager when the position became available three months later.
