(2002)"Greatest Hits, Vol. 1" is a 2001
greatest hits album byBlue Rodeo . It was released in the United States in 2004.It collects most of the singles from all of their albums except 2000's "
The Days in Between ", which was still a relatively current release. It also includes a cover of "To Love Somebody" byThe Bee Gees . (Critics have noted that this is probably a second-hand borrowing, asGram Parsons , a more obvious influence on Blue Rodeo's music, also covered the song on the 1974Flying Burrito Brothers rarities album "Close Up the Honky-Tonks".)"After the Rain", from 1990's "Casino", is included in a new, re-recorded version featuring the band's then-present line-up plus a horn section.
