Lionel Francis Little Eagle Pinn, Jr. (born 9 September, 1952 is a Native American Mi'kmaq writer. He was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia United States. His non-fiction work entitled, "Greengrass Pipe Dancers", became a breakout success in 2000 and arguably is considered one of the most well-written documents describing the powerful ceremony of life and death through the eyes of Native America. He is also on the national board member of Wisdom of the Elders, Inc. A non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the written and oral traditions of native Americans.

Lionel also works in the field of Pupil Transportation and is currently serving on the State Board of Washington Association of Pupil Transportation.
