Toyota iUnit

Toyota iUnit

The Toyota iUnit is an experimental single passenger vehicle developed by Toyota. The vehicle's innovative quality is that it can recline from a standing position for faster travel. The iUnit was first demonstrated with its sister vehicle, the iFoot, at the Expo 2005 in Aichi, Japan, in March 2005. The iUnit has been superseded by the iSwing, a three-wheeler that leans in curves. Toyota calls it a "personal mobility concept" vehicle. One of the six iUnits produced is on display in the Science Museum, London where its bio-plastic panels are featured.
