GASENE

The Southeast Northeast Interconnection Gas Pipeline (GASENE) is a convert|1387|km|mi long under construction natural gas pipeline system in Brazil, which will connect existing southeastern gas system to the Northeastern gas system. GASENE starts from the Cabiúnas Terminal in Rio de Janeiro and runs to the city of Catu in Bahia. GASCAV pipeline

The Cabiúnas-Vitória pipeline is a convert|303|km|mi long pipeline with a convert|28|in|mm|-1 nominal diameter and maximum capacity of 7.5 billion cubic meter (bcm) of gas per annum. This section has two compressor stations. It is interconnected by convert|10|km|mi long branch line with Anchieta. This section was designed and constructed by Chinese oil company Sinopec.cite web
