Vernon ("Vern") John Hanaray (born
August 14 ,1951 inMasterton ) is a former road cyclist fromNew Zealand , who represented his native country in the men's individual road race at the 1972 and1976 Summer Olympics . He also competed at the 1974 and1978 Commonwealth Games . Hanaray won the 1974 edition of theArcher Grand Prix cycle race .Career highlights
