Bishop Gabino Zavala (b.
September 7 ,1951 inGuerrero ,Mexico ) currently serves as theAuxiliary Bishop of the San Gabriel Region in theArchdiocese of Los Angeles and is considered by some to be one of the most powerful and influentialLatinos in the Church in theUnited States today.
