Kamran Shirdel (born
1939 inTehran ) is a renownedIran ian documentarist.He studied
architecture andurbanism at the University of Rome andfilm direction at the [http://www.snc.it/ Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia] ofRome , graduating in1964 . He worked as anassistant director withJohn Huston on "The Bible" before making his diploma film, "Gli Specchi " (The Mirrors), in Rome. He returned to Iran and started his career in1965 .Shirdel is the founder and director of the
