Feldwebel Günter Steinhausen (born 15 September, 1917 in Lobkevitz on the isle of Rügenkilled in action 6 September, 1942 near El Alamein, Egypt) was German World War II Luftwaffe 40 victories Flying ace. He participated in North African campaign and was both posthumously promoted to Leutnant and awarded the Knight's Cross of the Iron Cross on 3 November 1942.
