Akay

Akay is one of the first Swedish graffiti writers/street artists, and one of the most influential too.

In the mid eighties to mid nineties he was a founding member of infamous graffiti crew VIM (Vandals In Motion). When he quit graffiti, he started his street art project Akayism.

Akayism

In the Akayism project he has made art installations in all kinds of formats and sizes, that has been seen in all corners of the world. Some of the installations has been co-made with other famous street artist.

Collaborations

Klisterpeter (Swedish for Glue-Peter) known world wide for his deer-stickers and urban bird nesting boxes, has co-made many of Akay's installations. They sometimes call themselves the Barsky Brothers.
