Kevin P. Ryan

Kevin P. Ryan is an Internet executive and entrepreneur in New York City's Silicon Alley. He is perhaps best known as CEO of DoubleClick, which he co-founded in 1996 and over the next nine years built into a multi-billion dollar global industry leader. Under his direction, DoubleClick was awarded the title of "New York Company of the Year" by "Silicon Alley Reporter" and Ryan himself was named one of the "50 Most Influential Business People" by "Crain's New York Business."

DoubleClick was sold in 2005 for $1.1 billion to Hellman and Friedman LLC, and Ryan stepped down as CEO shortly thereafter. DoubleClick was acquired by Google for $3.1 billion in March 2008.

After leaving DoubleClick, Ryan, along with former DoubleClick CTO and co-founder, Dwight Merriman, founded AlleyCorp [http://www.alleycorp.com] , a network of six affiliated Internet companies of which he is Chairman and CEO.

Ryan joined DoubleClick in 1996, first as president and later as CEO. Under Ryan, DoubleClick grew from a startup of 20 people to a worldwide entity with more than 1500 employees.

While working at United Media, Ryan launched the Dilbert Web site, based on the popular comic strip created by Scott Adams. Personal

Ryan received a B.A. from Yale University in 1985 and his M.B.A. from INSEAD (The Business School for the World).

His middle brother Sean Ryan, is the founder and CEO of Meez, a social entertainment network built around avatars, casual games and virtual items. He was previously CEO of Listen.com (Rhapsody music service) which was acquired by RealNetworks in 2003.

His youngest brother, Conor Kennedy Ryan, is the founder and president of successful NY boutique modeling agency MuseNYC.com
