Shamik Dasgupta


Shamik Dasgupta (born August 28th 1981) is a writer known for his work for Virgin Comics, specifically his acclaimed work on Ramayan 3392 A.D.. He has also written a one shot horror graphic novel called Virulents. Presently his work has expanded to other comics books namely the latest series of Sadhu 'Wheel of Destiny' one shot superhero graphic novel 'Vargav' in collaboration with Virgin Comics and UTV Spotboy productions, and the horror graphic novel 'Linger' in collaboration with Virgin comics and Studio 18.

He is well-known for the re-telling of hystorical and mythological events - in different scenarios, with various twists and turns.His first work Ramayan 3392 A.D. has been rated highly at various comics sites.

He Currently stays in the city of Kolkata,India.
