The brook is 43,6 km long, and joins theErft at his mouth inNorth Rhine-Westphalia . It flows through the municipalitySwisttal , the townMeckenheim and Flerzheim, a local part of the townRheinbach . In this area are many cycle paths at the edge of the brook. The Swist gave its name to the municipality ofSwisttal and the town ofWeilerswist . The source area is situated at the northern edge of theEifel . The Swist is considered as the longest brook run ofEurope .External links
