In 2002, Slim Thug was involved in a beef between himself and defunct Swishahouse artists Big Pic, AD, and Lil Mario. The beef started when Pic & Lil Mario started bootlegging Slim's mix tapes and were caught.Fact|date=October 2008 It is believed jealousy played a factor because Slim had a huge following throughout the South and was garnishing a lot of success, while the three struggled with Swishahouse.Fact|date=October 2008 This led to them dissing Slim on various mix tapes, but without saying his name. Slim Thug retaliated with "Tha Boss", an entire mix tape consisting of Eddie Kovacs which virtually took shots at Big Pic, AD, and includes how the whole the conflict started. In fact, the only artist that Slim Thug never verbally went after was Big Love, proving to be a smart move after having to retreat from a Big Love right cross in front of Selective Sounds. In 2006, "XXL" picked it as one of the "Top 20 Street Albums Of All Time". The cover above is not the actual cover, but a re-release, released in 2005, with some of the original songs replaced with some of his classic material from years past. The original cover shows him kneeling down in front of one of his motorcycles in front of an abandoned building. Below is the correct track listing.
