Shoscombe in thecivil parish of Hemington. It is about convert|8|mi|km|0|lk=on miles south west from Bath. and convert|6|mi|km|0 miles north west ofFrome . It is mostly residential.The church is dedicated to
St. James the less, which dates from the early 18th century and incorporates a 15th century turret. It has been designated byEnglish Heritage as a grade II*listed building .
