Anthony Bailey

Anthony Bailey is a British author. Born in 1933 in Portsmouth, he was evacuated to Dayton, Ohio, in 1940 during World War II. For many years he was a writer for the New Yorker Magazine.

He lives in Mersea, near Colchester, Essex, with his wife Margot. They have four daughters: Liz, Annie, Katie and Rachel.

His sail boat Lochinvar was seen summer of 2007 at Block Island, RI. Person on it said that Bailey had died. Is this true?
