Tim Caple is a British television commentator on many different sports, concentrating mainly on football.
Football
Tim made his debut as a television commentator in the mid 1990s for
Bristol -basedITV companyHTV West . A short spell atBBC Radio Merseyside followed.Since 1996 he has been a regular football voice on
Eurosport , making his debut covering theToulon Tournament . He has covered three European Championships for them (1996-2004) and also worked on the1998 FIFA World Cup as presenter and commentator. He has also commentated on action in theAfrican Cup of Nations .In addition to
Eurosport Caple has commentated for all the major British terrestrial networks. He made a brief appearance onBBC 'sMatch Of The Day programme in 2004 covering anFA Cup tie between Everton and Norwich City. Caple was a regular voice ofOnDigital and theITV Sport Channel 's Champions League coverage, as well as contributing toHTV 's regional programming.To complete the set he has covered the
