Richard Piegza (born
June 10 ,1954 ) is aParis -based performer, video, action andinstallation artist since1977 .From
1978 to1982 , he created and directed "Ambasada Lingua". In 1982, he moved toParis , and in1988 , he founded the Wizya Video Art Action, which organizes and documents artistic events and performances. Since1991 , he has been working on the permanent recording, "Remembered Images". He is the author of a movie, "Action Art", made in1997 , and a film called "Performer's Notebook".In May
1998 , together withMichel Giroud andCharles Dreyfus , he organized a Video Conference, "DADA-FLUXUS". It was held inGeorge Maciunas 's Office in the "Center for Art" inVilnius . Richard Piegza is also the artistic director of "Interactions" — "Art Action Festival ", that took place inPiotrków Trybunalski — inPoland (ca. 42 km fromŁódź ).External links
