Jude Watson

Jude Watson is a novelist for young readers, usually preteens, she now lives in New York. She is probably best known for her "Star Wars" works, which are usually set in the prequel era and involve the Jedi. Clear examples of these include the "Jedi Apprentice", "Jedi Quest",' and "Legacy of the Jedi" series. She wrote journals from the point of view of Princess Leia, Padmé Amidala and Darth Maul. She also helped write the ' series with K. D. Burkett.

Her non-"Star Wars" works include the "Brides of Wildcat County" series and the novel "Premonitions" and its sequel "Disappearance". She has also written a "Star Trek" series with K.D. Burkett

Not much is known about Jude Watson. Practically no source can give you very much personal information on her. An Amazon.com search on “Judy Blundell” turns up several YA "Star Wars" books whose covers say they were written by “Jude Watson.” This lends credibility to the theory that Jude Watson is a pseudonym for at least one—and possibly more—other writers, in the manner of the Stratemeyer Syndicate books.
