"Gayab" (English: "Disappear") ( _hi. गाय़ब) is a Hindi film released in the summer of the year 2004. It stars Tusshar Kapoor and Antara Mali as the lead protagonist. It was remade in Tamil as Githan.

plot

Vishnu Prasad (Tusshar Kapoor) is a nerd who is unappericiated, his mother nags him and his father ignores him. He is in love with his neighbor Mohini (Antara Mali), but she already has a boyfriend. Once they meet in a cafe Mohini's boyfriend hits Vishnu for winking at Mohini. Vishnu goes home crying, and angrily tells a statue to make him invisible. He discovers his wish came true. And happily spies on Mohini and gets her boyfriend in trouble. He wonders what he can do to make Mohini love him, and thinking she loves money, he robs a bank and gives the money to Mohini. Telling her he is invisible. She is shocked and tells him angrily that she loves her boyfriend. Then she tells the police and they decide to kill Vishnu by telling Mohini to tell him to meet him somewhere and put her veil around him. She fails to do so, and tells Vishnu police are everywhere and he needs to get out. Vishnu runs and dives into a river, before the police can shoot him. He meets Mohini later, and she tells him he cannot force her to love him. In the end, Vishnu stays invisible and becomes a hero.
