television film directed byWilliam Friedkin , based on the play "12 Angry Men" and the 1957 film version.Plot
The film is centered around twelve jurors who are deliberating. At the start of the film, most are ready to find the young, Hispanic defendant guilty. However, one juror wishes to be thorough and starts to review all of the evidence. For example, the knife that the prosecution claimed was rare and thus linked the boy to the crime can in fact be purchased readily. This one juror slowly convinces the other jurors that there is a reasonable doubt that the boy committed the murder and thus a non-guilty verdict is rendered.
