February 7, 2008Matteo Bono (born November 11, 1983 in Ome) is an Italian road bicycle racer who rides for Lampre in the UCI ProTour. Bono turned professional in 2006 and he took up his first pro win at 2007 Tirreno–Adriatico by winning stage 6 and then in the 2007 Tour de Romandie he won stage 4 after being a breakaway with Fumiyuki Beppu and Marco Pinotti and outsprinted Beppu on the line.
