New Zealand naturalist and photographer. He is the author and photographer of several books on New Zealand birds and landscape, and his photographs are also used in other publications, including those by his wife Lynnette. Geoff is the Patron of the Wingspan Birds of Prey Trust [http://www.wingspan.co.nz/profile.html] , a Waitakere Arts Laureate, an Honorary Fellow of thePhotographic Society of New Zealand and an Associate of theRoyal Photographic Society of Great Britain.Geoff was born in
China where his English parents were living while his father worked in a managerial position forShell Oil . The family moved back to England and Geoff came to New Zealand in 1947. Originally he worked as aveterinarian and started a practice in Warkworth where he lived with his family. He is an honorary life member of theNew Zealand Veterinary Association . In 1994 he was awarded anOBE for his services to the veterinary profession and photography.He now lives with his wife Lynnette in
Titirangi ,Auckland .
