Farah Abushwesha ( _ar. فرح أبو شويشة) is an award-winning filmmaker of
Libya n and Irish descent.Biography
Abushwesha was born to an Irish mother and Libyan father. She has worked for
Warner Brothers Television , the TNT,Cartoon Network andMoving Picture Company . Farah has a diploma inJournalism and trained as anactress at theThe Poor School inLondon ,England . She has worked as a radio presenter in Ireland andFrance , and as a reporter for Boulevard Magazine (Paris ), Irish Eyes (Paris) and The Irish Star covering the 1995 MTV Movie Awards. Abushwesha was selected by theEuropean Commission and theBritish Council to represent Ireland as part of a film project celebrating the enlargement of Europe taking part in panel discussions inBrussels andSweden for Media Desk. Farah has also worked as Deputy Head of Diploma Studies at theLondon Film Academy overseeing student graduation film productions.
