Raywat Deonandan

Raywat Deonandan (born 1967) is a Canadian author and scientist. He received his doctor of philosophy degree in epidemiology and biostatistics from the University of Western Ontario in 2001. Born in Guyana, Deonandan immigrated to Canada at a young age.

His two books, "Sweet Like Saltwater" and "Divine Elemental", were published in Toronto by TSAR Publications in 1999 and 2003 respectively. He was awarded the 2001 Guyana Prize for Literature.
