] Software pirates often use TryMedia as a source for original game media, without the need to rely on torrents, due to the fact that Trymedia's servers currently aren't secure and don't prompt a user to proivde a user name or password when they attempt to download a file directly. This requires that the user know the exact location on the server of the file. Once game files have been downloaded, a user need only apply a crack to unlock the full game content. Trymedia has yet to implement any strategy to ensure that their servers aren't abused in this manner.
