"Piker’s Peak" is a Warner Bros. Looney Tunes animated short directed by Fritz Freleng. It was originally released on May 25, 1957.

Plot Summary

This cartoon features Yosemite Sam and Bugs Bunny competing to see who can climb the Schmatterhorn first and win 50,000 kronkites (Kronkite is not a form of currency, but instead a famous news anchor, Walter Cronkite). Instead, Yosemite ends up climbing the Eiffel Tower after a series of mountain climbing gags, to the sound of band music.
