Elethiomel

Elethiomel is a fictional character in Iain M. Banks' novel "Use of Weapons".

In the book, he was a cousin and childhood friend of Cheradenine Zakalwe. He is/was/might/will be (a problem suggested by the nonlinear format of the book) a soldier in the pay of The Culture, and is extremely skilled at his job. As suggested by the title of the novel, he is capable of using anything as a weapon.

He was also known as the "chairmaker" for making, as a weapon against Cheradenine's fragile mental state, a small chair out of the bones of Cheradenine's sister, Darckense.
