Walter Scott, Earl of Dalkeith

Walter Scott, Earl of Dalkeith

Walter John Francis Scott, Earl of Dalkeith (born 2 August 1984) is the second child and elder son of Richard Scott, the current Duke of Buccleuch and Queensberry, and his wife, Lady Elizabeth Kerr, a daughter of the 12th Marquess of Lothian. He is first in line to inherit the dukedom.

As the oldest son of the Duke of Buccleuch, Walter takes the courtesy title of "Earl of Dalkeith", and has held the title since his grandfather's death on September 4, 2007, previously being known, since birth, as "Lord Eskdaill". He served as a Page of Honour to Queen Elizabeth II from 1996 to 1999. His father held the same honour when he served as a page to Queen Elizabeth, The Queen Mother.
