Peter Norton Computing

Peter Norton Computing, Inc., was a software company founded by Peter Norton. One of the most notable software packages it produced is Norton Utilities. Another very popular software was Norton Commander, especially the DOS version. In 1990, the company was acquired by Symantec.Fact|date=November 2007

One of the principal competitors to PNC in the utilities marketplace was Central Point Software.
