computer scientist , developer of theShlaer-Mellor method and signatory to theAgile Manifesto . He was chief scientist of the Embedded Systems Division atMentor Graphics . He has contributed to theObject Management Group , chairing the consortium that added executable actions to the UML and the specification ofModel Driven Architecture . He is also chairing the advisory board of theIEEE Software magazine.Publications
