Chart performance

The song has achieved great success on urban and rhythmic U.S. radio stations, and has become Timberlake's second top-five single on the U.S. Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, so far reaching number three. Because of high airplay the song was able to chart as high as number 23 on the Billboard Hot 100, with little help from digital sales, and no music video. After the official duet single with Beyoncé was released, the song picked up in digital sales, and it reached a new peak of #17 on the Hot 100. The song became the sixth U.S. top 20 hit from the "FutureSex/LoveSounds" album. This is the first time a solo male artist has achieved this since Michael Jackson had six top twenty Hot 100 hits from his "Dangerous" album from 1991 and 8 top 20 hits from his "Bad" album from 1987 plus George Michael having six top five Hot 100 hits from his "Faith" album the same year.
