"This article deals with the lottery for the state of Washington. For the lottery in Washington, D.C., go to: D.C. Lottery."Washington's Lottery is run by the government of Washington. Its games include Mega Millions, Keno, Hit 5, and numerous scratch games (including Lucky For Life, which replaced a numbers game by the same name).

Games

Washington's Lottery offers several draw games, plus numerous scratch ticket games. The list of draw games is as follows:

State law prohibits any game from being drawn more than once per day.

Retired Games

This is a list of the draw games that have been retired and the dates they were active.

Quinto, for a brief period, had an add-on game called Beat the State.

pecial Games

For its 25th annerversary, the lottery held its first raffle; 375,000 tickets were sold, with three chances at $1 million, four chances at $100,000, and 350 chances for $1,000. In the first drawing, all the tickets sold out. In spring 2008, a second raffle was held; however, over 100,000 tickets were unsold.

Etc.

Many US lotteries draw some games, such as pick-3, at least twice daily. However, local law prohibits Washington's Lottery from drawing any of its games more than once per day. This explains why its Keno is not drawn every few minutes, unlike a growing number of US lotteries.

Minimum age to play is 18.
