Elavsky writes the Interview column, while Block writes the Gossip, Q&A and Summaries sections.

Personal life
Elavsky was born in Massillon, Ohio on September 12, 1972. She and her family moved to Orlando, Florida, in the summer of 1987. She graduated with honors from Oviedo High School in 1990.
Education
Elavsky graduated from Oviedo High School, in Oviedo, Florida. She later received her Bachelor's degree in English, with a concentration in Creative Writing, from the University of Central Florida in 1996. She was an active member of the Sigma Tau Delta honors society. She also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Theater, with a concentration in performance, from UCF in 2001, where she was an active member of the Alpha Psi Omega honors society.
Career
She began working for Reed Brennan Media Associates in Orlando (a subsidiary of the Hearst Corporation, also linked to King Features/North American Syndicate) in 2001, working her way up from Proofreader to Assistant Managing Editor to Syndicate Editor.
Daytime Dial and Celebrity Extra are syndicated throughout the United States and Canada.
