Dan Holdsworth (born 1974, UK) is an artist based in London. He takes photographs, sometimes involving hours long exposures. Examples include his photographs taken at the Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico. He was responsible for an Adidas campaign in the participating cities of Euro 2000.[1] He participated in the 2001 Beck's Futures prize.
He graduated from the London College of Printing in 1998.
Holdsworth has shown work internationally in many exhibitions including 'Peintres de la vie Moderne, Modern-Life Painters' at the Centre Pompidou, Paris. ‘Photography 2005’ at the Victoria Miro Gallery in London, ‘Consuming Nature and Man’ at the Museum of Contemporary Photography in Chicago and ‘Horizon’ at Art Agents Gallery in Hamburg. He is represented by Patricia Low Contemporary in Gstaad, Switzerland.
