world_heritage_site =Wheatley Provincial Park is located on
Lake Erie nearWheatley, Ontario in the municipality of Chatham-Kent.The park occupies 2.41 km² in southwestern
Ontario . Visitors to nearbyPoint Pelee National Park often camp at this park. A number of small creeks flow through the park which provide opportunities forcanoe ing and viewing waterfowl.Opportunities for canoeing are mostly gone now because over the past 10 years the inlet and creeks that dominate the park have mostly dried up.
The park has 4 campgrounds: Boosey creek, Highlands, Middle Creek and Two Creeks. Boosey creek has the most shade and has lots of
Carolinian forest . Highlands has hardly any shade and is super hot in the summertime. Middle and two creeks are somewhere between the two extremes.Gallery
