Wahi clan

Wahi/Wahie is a Khatri clan that belongs to Punjab. The Wahie/Wahi clan is a part of the Khatri/Kshatriya caste. Many Hindu and Sikh Wahie/Wahi settled in West Punjab which is now part of Pakistan, and had to move to India at the time of the 1947 partition. Originally, the Wahie/Wahi clan originates from the Doaba region of Punjab.

Wahie's/Wahi's are predominantly Hindu and Sikh with a small portion belonging to other faiths.
