CBS in 1988.Overview
The series starred
Scott Bakula (later of "Quantum Leap" and "" fame) as Barnett M. "Bud" Lutz, Jr., a shiftless ambulance-chasing lawyer. Lutz had trouble getting clients, so his father (played byHenderson Forsythe ) added the name "Eisenhower" to his shingle to attract clientele, much the same way Laura Holt invented "Remington Steele " for her struggling detective agency on the private-eye drama of the same name. Lutz spent more time trading quips with the women in his life -- Megan, played byDeLane Matthews , and K.K., played by future "Home Improvement " starPatricia Richardson -- than he did actual legal work.Cast
